Every now and then, it's great to have a change of scenery and lifestyle and that's exactly what we got in Ehden. It was beautiful! We arrived on Tuesday night and the weather was foggy! I remember best describing it as "straight out of a horror movie" kind of image! We enjoyed great food at restaurants that have breathtaking sights. Walking there alone was just so peaceful especially with the clean resh air surrounding us! As for me, I even got a chance to start with a new book 'A Painted House' by John Grisham.
But I guess the peak of it all wasn't the scenery, it was the people. I've heard a saying go "Heaven with no people is Hell". The experience of it all with my parents was wonderful.I couldn't be any happier. I'll never forget how Dad, in every restaurant, asks the Waiter if the cheese is Cow cheese or Goat cheese (as he doesn't like Goat cheese); how Mom enjoys repeating sentences which make me want to kill a kitten (repetition drives me crazy!), having one the most historical chats with my Dad on one Thursday walk, seeing a crazy man professing his love by saying :"B7ebbik Aktar min Allah", or best of all, my Dad coming into our room (me and my brother) and saying:"I seriously thank you for making this much needed trip great, I love you both."
Kinda makes me want to take my own family someday.
